Sleepers

Manage level changes and ground slopes on your property.

Sleepers are used in retaining walls and along the base of fences to manage level changes and ground slopes. We install two types depending on the size, load requirements and look you're after.

H4 Treated Pine sleeper

H4 Treated Pine

H4 treated pine sleepers are preservative-treated to Hazard Level 4, making them fully rated for in-ground contact. They're a cost-effective, natural-looking option well suited to low-to-medium height retaining walls in residential properties.

  • H4 hazard rating — approved for ground contact
  • Natural timber appearance
  • Cost-effective for smaller retaining walls
  • Standard choice for the base of fences with uneven ground
Concrete sleeper

Concrete Sleepers

Concrete sleepers are the heavy-duty choice. They won't rot, warp, or be damaged by termites, and require virtually no maintenance once installed. Ideal for taller walls, steep slopes or where longevity is the priority.

  • Extremely durable — lasts decades
  • Termite and rot resistant
  • No ongoing maintenance required
  • Suitable for taller and heavier retaining walls
